PRAYER REQUESTS

 Pastor Brooks is a woman of prayer. She knows without prayer the Believer has no power. She believes we must hook up daily to the Power Source which is Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says in Matthew 7:7-11, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Many of us fail in receiving from God the things we desire because we fail to ask. The Acronym to release God into our lives and circumstances is that we must first: “A”-Ask this allows God to come into our situations and help guide us through until he answers. The letter “B” is for believing. We must believe that God hears us when we call out to Him. . Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” And “C” is for confessing the same words Jesus uses to come into agreement with Him on one’s needed request. Romans 10:9 promises that “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and is justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ... for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Hebrews 11:6 states, “And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” The Good News is that we must have faith in what is not seen, for God rewards us for our belief in him and his rewards when we don’t need to see to believe.
