Deacon Larry Parker

Deacon Larry Parker was born in New Orleans, LA. in 1967 but has lived in Houston his whole life. He is a child of God, a husband to April Parker, he has two children, a stepson, and 3 grandchildren. He grew up in the printing business and has been a graphic designer for over 20 years mostly in Real estate and development. He was raised in the Catholic Church and started growing his faith at an early age. As a child, his Grandmother and Grandfather were always going to church and on their knees every night before bed, giving all the Glory to God. Being a small child, they taught him the Lord's prayer and an understanding of who Jesus was. 

Later in life, he realized there was someone bigger than anything that he was going through or what he went through in life. He needed God in his life and wanted to know more about who Jesus was. Larry accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 34 at Lakewood Church and was baptized at Life Four Square Church in 2005. 

He can look back at his own personal testimony and thank God for his mercy and forgiveness. He learned to repent on things that were unpleasing to God and is continuing to grow his relationship with God. 

Under the Leadership of Pastor Brooks God led her to place Brother Parker as Lead Deacon of the Miracles of Faith Deliverance Church Ministries in 2019. Deacon Parker continues to grow in faith, wisdom, prayer, and the Word of God. He delights in serving the community of God’s people through leading by example. Deacon Parker's most holy desire is to continue walking with God as Head of his life and leading his family in the things of God in name of Jesus.
