Pastor Anna Brooks is the founder and Senior Leader of Miracles of Faith Deliverance Church Ministries in Katy, Texas. She is uniquely positioned to teach Christians how to utilize the Spirit-filled Word of God to overcome addictions and difficult life situations. Pastor Brooks is anointed to equip the saints for spiritual warfare, teaching them how to win the war against the flesh, the world, and Satan. She is gifted in the area of outreach, bringing wounded and bound souls to the point of salvation through Christ’s saving blood and power. Pastor Brooks is a true believer in the power of the Word of the Most Omnipotent High God. 

Pastor Brooks’ mission and vision is to evangelize one life at a time through deliverance, Christian discipleship, and development in Christ, who gives us power. Her personal commitment is to walk in obedience, mercy, and love for others as well as for herself. She is dedicated to practicing self-discipline in all aspects of life. Pastor Brooks is committed to her creator, stating that, “I look to Him alone to be my enabler, my strength, my motivator, my first love, my friend, my comforter, and above all, my Lord and king.” 

Pastor Brooks is an experienced woman of God. Prior to the founding of Miracles of Faith Deliverance Church Ministries, she served in various ministries in a multitude of capacities. Most recently, she served as an Assistant Pastor at Higher Praise Church under the leadership of Pastor Tony Washington. Prior to that, Pastor Brooks served at The Church Without Walls under the leadership of Pastor Ralph Douglas West. She also served as an Assistant Pastor at SonRise Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Edward Buford 

Pastor Brooks’ commitment to gospel ministry has been recognized many times. She was licensed as a minister at SonRise Community Church in 2004 and at The Church Without Walls in 2012. In addition, she was ordained at Higher Praise Church in 2017. She has taught courses for adults reaching all aspects of life from Sunday School to Vacation Bible School. Pastor Brooks has been active in Women’s Ministry, Divorce Care, Prison Ministry, Evangelism, and Counseling. She has also been active in feeding and clothing the less fortunate and sponsoring participants in Alcoholics Anonymous and Overeaters Anonymous. 

In addition to founding Miracles of Faith Deliverance Church Ministries, Pastor Brooks is the founder of the F.I.G.S. Ministry (Fitness Inspired by God through the Spirit). She authored a handbook for that ministry and has assisted in the organizing of several addiction ministries throughout the Houston area. She is a sought-after speaker, having presented and preached at several local churches and presenting health seminars at the AME Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. She speaks at conventions church programs, retreats, and more. 

A dedicated civil servant, Pastor Brooks is retired from the Internal Revenue Service. She was able to serve the Lord in her employment, serving as the Chaplain, Lead Instructor, and Regional Vice President of the Christian Fundamentalist Internal Revenue Employees (CFIRE) organization. She was also a Continuing Professional Education Trainer and organizer.  

Pastor Brooks holds a Master of Arts in Religion from B. H. Carroll Theological Institute (2021), and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Counseling from the College of Biblical Studies (2007). She has also completed the “Anger, Anxiety, and Panic Disorders” course from Biblical Life-Skills Institute 

A native Houstonian, Pastor Brooks is the only daughter of Joseph Morris and Leverta Lawson, both of whom are deceased. She was blessed to care for both of them before they went home to be with the Lord. 

Pastor Ralph Douglas West of The Church Without Walls located in Houston Texas is her pastor and principal ministry mentor. Pastor Brooks is very thankful for his encouraging her to continue her education to prepare for pastoral ministry. Pastor Brooks is also thankful for the mentorship of Pastor Catrina M. Johnson-Blount of Eternal Word Fellowship Church, who is also a former IRS coworker and lifelong friend.
